Its time for a PRAISE REPORT!! :D The past 2 days have been such a blessing! This Spring I was able to find the first pair of shoes that I can actually walk in, in over 3 years!!! Ive work them everyday (all day, even have to wear them during the night to go to the bathroom in), and they were wearing out on me. Tom, our friend Cathy Jo, and I went to Opelika to find me a pair of tennis shoes for winter. We really didnt have the money to spare, but Ive been praying about it, and I was able to find the most AWESOME shoes!! And the bonus, they were only $60!! Usually comfortable shoes for me are over $100, so I have to do without. I was so happy I wanted to cry!! They are Sketchers brand, and have memory foam on them, with these round balls all over the bottoms, to cushion my feet! Ah-ma-zing! We were able to find stores that had wheelchairs and scooters for Tom, so we even got to go inside Academy and walk around! We had the BEST time, and were able to feel normal for the first time in a long time.. My feet and back ended up catching up to me, and so I ended up having to sit in the car during the last 3 stores, but I didnt mind! Last night, Tom rubbed my feet and legs for me with this lotion I found a few months ago thats for ppl with Fibromyalgia and arthritis called Two Old Goats, and it helped soothe my pain so I could drift off to sleepy land! Today, Tom had an appt at his local GI Dr, who said hes doing great, and hes going to report in to his liver specialist at Emory to reiterate to him, that a new liver is all we are all waiting on! :)) We did the rest of our errands today, and now we are at home getting some rest. Toms cooking Korean food tonight, and we are having Cathy Jo and Alyssas sweet friends over to eat and watch movies. This is THE LIFE!! We could surely use more days like today and yesterday!! Thank for all of your thoughts and prayers! Without you guys, we wouldnt be here today, and probably wouldnt have good days. Please remember to enjoy life. Even the simplest of things can be the biggest blessings, and sometimes things you may be complaining about, someone else is praying for. We love you all, and enjoy your day and weekend! :)
