Its time for my Monday Moan! Do you ever have customers email you a month before their cake is due to ask how things are going? What kind of progress report are they expecting? I had some bubble tea straws delivered from Amazon today, and yesterday I bought a new tin of baking powder. I have to say, this has only happened to me once - naturally all my customers are FABULOUS :-) - but I was chatting with some cake friends and it and it was amazing how many of them piped up and said the same! I guess customers just get very excited - maybe its their first custom cake and they are dying for news and sneak peeks. I gave my lady a realistic timeline and then sent her a few photo progress photos so she could enjoy the build up! Does this happen to you?
