Its time for our Sunday adoption update, and were happy to tell you that a BUNCH of Haven furkids are happy tonight in their new homes. Connie and Stealth went home together. Blinker went home to live with Carter who was adopted last week. We love this because everyone needs a friend. :) We also love that sweet Brennen didnt have to stay at the Haven long after his heart-broken adoptive family had to return him. Hes now back in a great home. And were thrilled that senior Chloe found a new family after her elderly mom could no longer care for her. Any one of these would have made our week, but weve hardly even started giving you the good news. In addition, Lady Gaga, Hank Williams, Metal, Motown, Celtic, Country, Opera, Calypso, Blues, and Rap all went home. Hooray! That leaves just poor little Ragtime from Lizs litter waiting for her family to find her. We hope someone comes for her soon. Rock Star was also adopted yesterday from Orschelns, but youll see him next week after his new family picks him up. Congratulations and thanks to our adopters! We had some great new volunteers and drivers this weekend, and wed like to thank them for their help. Thanks also to our staff who works extra long and extra hard getting pets ready for adoption, my good friend who came by to visit for her wonderful support of homeless animals, and whoever left the food in our box at Orschelns. Wed also like to express our gratitude to our volunteers who drove Haven dogs to Rent-A-Puppy the past two weeks. They get the credit for Hanks adoption...his new mom watched him out the window of her work and decided she needed to take him home! Money was raised AND a home was found!
