Its time for the end of the month book roundup! I felt like I read a lot more good books this month in comparison to January. Top Ten Best: 1. The Collected Works by Flannery O’Connor (Been reading this off and on for about a year, just finished it.) 2. Pensées by Blaise Pascal 3. Johnny Cash: The Life by Robert Hilburn 4. Brave New World and Brave New World Revisited by Aldous Huxley 5. New Deal or Raw Deal?: How FDR’s Economic Legacy has Damaged America by Burton W. Folsom Jr. 6. Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen 7. The Maltese Falcon by Dashiell Hammett 8. The Red Pony by John Steinbeck 9. Man in White by Johnny Cash 10. Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf Interesting books I read that did not make the list: The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B. Du Bois The Apostolic Fathers by Various Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein Catch Me If You Can by Frank Abagnale Jr. The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie The Firm by John Grisham Worst (Besides Neuromancer, none of these books are terrible. So I’m not knocking them or saying they’re bad books; they’re just the worst stuff that I read this month.): 1. Neuromancer by William Gibson 2. Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman 3. The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams 4. Finnegan’s Wake by James Joyce 5. Mythology by Edith Hamilton
