Its time to Discover again, to bring back the age of the space race. When furthering mankinds development was on the top of our list. The frontier of knowledge was at the core of everyones dreams. I believe the show Cosmos is the first small step in that direction. Lets remove the reality TV out of the equation. Funny how it started off with interesting things like Mythbusters and a few Big brother type shows and American Idol... people with true abilities... but soon was watered down with things were thinking, knowledge, and skills were no longer needed... Jersey Shore and so on took over television... and now educational channels such as Discovery Channel focus on things that are not merely the caliber of a educational show they were 10 yrs ago. I am not excluding myself from being a contributor to these shows I am just stating how excited I am that something like Cosmos is making it on National Television. You are responsible for your own knowledge.
