Its time to Wrap some new members in Love! Welcome! This message is for you and contains everything you need to know, so please read it all the way through. Some good stuff in here, I promise (even ways to save a little money). First, as a part of this message thread, let us know how you came to be a member of Wrapped in Love. We enjoy reading how you heard about us. The files listed contain critical information regarding what we do and what we dont do. We know you will have questions and most can be answered by going to the top of this page, just under the banner and clicking on FILES. Please read all three of the following: 1. Mission Statement and about WIL......: This explains what we do and why we do it. Please read it and understand also what we dont do. 2. Blankets sizes n styles: This will familiarize you with terminology and the varying blanket sizes that are requested. 3. Labels of Love: This is your chance to put your personal touch on your individual blanket and shipments. Next, check out our other page, the WIL BB&Diaper page and join if you would like to be involved with making belly bands, diapers, coats and additional items. Don’t know how to make these items? Not a problem. Join the page and you will find instructions and tutorials. You can find it here: https://facebook/groups/295802950619995/. Many of our members do both blankets and other items since many rescues have a need for a variety of handmade items. How it works: You will log into the website wil4u. (You will need to create and then enter your unique User ID and Password). When we introduce a new rescue group you will go to the website and there is a place to enter your pledge(s). All past and present rescues are listed there. The applicable donation form, also on the website, provides you with the mailing address. It’s that simple. If you forgot what you pledged? No problem. Theres a place where you can see just your own pledges. Then you make your items with no timeline, no pressure, no rules other than the ingredient of love. When you shop for supplies to make your items whether it be yarn, fleece, flannel or cottons, you can get a discount by shopping at Joann Fabrics. As a member of WIL you can join the VIP club. If you would like a certificate of membership from us please let me know. Sign up for both Joann Fabrics and Hancock Fabrics emails to get some great savings. Finally, if you have any questions all you need to do is ask. We have a membership full of helpful and kind people who are willing to share their knowledge and ideas. When you visit our website you can see our current rescues, how many blankets requested and how many pledged to date. If the pledges are full, we always have another group in line, so start making your blankets. You will have a head start on the next group of dogs and cats just waiting to be wrapped in love.
