Its time to officially open my life-coaching business!!!!!!! And Im offering just a few sessions for dirt cheap! Yep, its true. Im getting trained right now to become a certified life coach through Martha Beck Inc. What exactly IS life-coaching? Well, a life-coach is to a therapist what a personal trainer is to a doctor. You go to the doctor to get help becoming healthy, and then you hire a personal trainer to guide you to a level of higher physical performance. In the same way, you go to a therapist if you are suffering from, for example, a traumatic event or a mental illness. You hire a life-coach if you are basically a healthy, functioning person who has areas of dissatisfaction in your life. Maybe you have some big dreams for your career but you cant seem to get there. Maybe you feel like your whole life is being swallowed by other peoples needs and demands. Maybe you keep missing great opportunities because you talk yourself out of taking the plunge or you back out at the last minute. Life-coaching can give you tools to change! As a big part of the training, were supposed to start taking some clients. You know that Im in training, and wont have all the answers. But the cool thing is that Ill never have all the answers, or even most of the answers, even when Im certified, because YOURE THE ONE WITH THE ANSWERS FOR YOUR JOURNEY!!! And the reason I am taking this particular training and certification program through Martha Beck Inc is because Ive been using her tools for a while now, and theyve changed and are continuing to change my life. I cant wait to start teaching you and others how to fill your own toolbox with simple things that help you live out of your highest self. So...right now I am looking for one client to commit to 5 one-hour sessions at $20 each for a total of $100. The sessions will be at 10:00am mountain time, on the following Friday mornings: 10/25, 11/01, 11/08, 11/22 and 12/06. We can do them via phone or Skype, or if you live in the Denver area and want to come to my house in Golden, you can enjoy the office Ive set up. :-) I will ask you to pay the $100 upfront before the first session.
