Its time to spring forward. In the U.S., clocks are offically changed for Daylight Saving at 2:00 AM local time. Daylight Saving Time – with no s is the official spelling, gets underway in most of the United States early Sunday morning, March 9, at 2 a.m., when time shoots forward to 3 a.m., and will continue until Nov. 2 at 2 a.m., when we get back the hours sleep that will be taken from us tonight. Daylight Saving Time is not observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and the state of Arizona – with the exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation, which does observe DST.
