Its time to start posting!!! Tonight I took a well needed break at Target I walked the Christmas aisles over and over very slowly, enjoying every bit of my quiet time.... someone recently blessed me with a gift card and I was looking over some things I could spend it on. My husband hasnt started his new job yet and since Wedding season has slowed down things are a little tight.... so I felt kind of silly spending money on myself.... I remembered that the shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child were due this Sunday and our family had yet to fill any - this year would be our first year participating. I suddenly got really excited and went and grabbed 4 plastic containers and went straight to the Dollar section and started grabbing toys, books, jewelry, school supplies - lots of things to fill these little boxes that may be these kids one and only Christmas gift. It was SOOOO fulfilling shopping for these little ones and knowing that our family had the opportunity to bless them! It is a BLESSING to BE a blessing! Watch this video and if you are interested in donating a shoebox full of goodies I can get them turned in for you this Sunday so they are shipped off to deserving little boys and girls!!
