Its time to step up! I have a confession... For a lot of my life Ive sat on the sidelines, holding my tongue and waiting for things to happen. Its time to put that to an end. Throughout my life Ive had many visions of me being a leader and a great public speaker. I will never forget when my fourth grade teacher stopped me in my tracks one day on my way back to class and told me, One day you will be a great leader. At the time, I didnt know what that meant. And I was scared. Truth be told, Im still scared. Im still afraid to open up fully, and put myself in front of hundreds if not thousands of people, and lead and inspire them. Its not an easy feat, especially for someone whos naturally been shy for a lot of my life. But this has been going on for too long. Its time for me to put myself out there in a big way, ESPECIALLY since Im scared. Heres the start of me stepping up.
