Its true. Mrs. Smucker has a smartphone. She doesnt remember what kind it is, but it came from her nice son Matt and seemed like a good idea at the time. It has a touchscreen. She tries to write Saturday with the cool Swype feature and it says Sat kit Daddy. She has to get her daughter to make it beep for text messages and not ring during church. Its good for our brains to learn this new stuff, you know, says her friend Arlene kindly but firmly. But if you see Mrs. Smucker going by with a horse and buggy today, it means she gave the phone to Goodwill and went back to being Amish. P.S. If she decides to stay Mennonite and keep the phone, she would like to know whats the best program (app??) to whip out and make little notes to herself to pick up the blueberries she ordered and call her brother.
