Its truly amazing how the music of Great Britain has influenced the modern musical landscape. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd, The Who, Radiohead, The Kinks, Def Leppard, Coldplay, Black Sabbath, the list could go on forever. A mid-sized island of 60 million people exporting this volume of globally successful musical acts is truly staggering. One artist that does not get the amount of respect he deserves is the one, the only.....Rick Astley. Never again will a 13 year-old conquer the charts around the world with their creepy baritone the way Astley did. The reasons (or reasons) why Never Gonna Give You Up and Together Forever are not up their with Hey Jude, Satisfaction, Stairway To Heaven, and Macarena will never be known. This is a crime. Think of it this way, no Rick Astley, no Spice Girls, no *NSYNC, no Backstreet Boys, no C+C Music Factory, no Miley Cyrus, no Justin Bieber, again the list could go on. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2015 anybody? Who knows, right? I mean Rolling Stone is awfully biased. Enjoy!
