Today, I got denied from getting US visa again. I simply felt discriminated for my gender and age. I only wanted to visit a friend and attend the The NAMM Show in Anaheim, Cal. Stay there for 10 days to hang out with some of my friends/ have fun making my dreams come true. Officers kept me in super stressful situation for a long time asking millions of questions (in english, as they preferred), like, What your favorite band is? why do you like the music? What are you going to do at the NAMM show? (like it was important) Who pays for your trip?x3 is the person you are going to see, your boyfriend? (x2) because this is how it looks like...say yes... - like it was kind of crime if i had. How old is he? Does he have a gf? He doesnt, you lie! They made tons of suggestions about it. Where did you get to meet your friend? Who is he for you? Why are you lying? What youll be doing out there? They were consulting each other while hesitating. I overheard some of this conversation. They didnt know what they shouldve told me as I proved them all I had to prove and had supporting documents for that (they didnt even want to check)! In the meantime, I could also hear that someone who was in prison before, got visa after 5 mins of talking with the other officer (sweet irony..) After extremely nice interrogation they provided me, the final answer was sorry, you are not allowed to come to the U.S I asked about the reason. Well, your ties with poland are not strong enough. I went Really? How come? What you were hesitating about, if they are not? So having a job in my country, being a caretaker for my disabled mother, when im the only child she has is not what you call the STRONG TIES? WHAT IS IT THEN? Tell me, Officer! Tell, because I dont understand. I want to know the REAL reason! Yes, I did hesitate..now, get out of here! Its hard to believe things like that still have place in todays world, especially with the U.S, the country of a different nations, such a FREE country fighting with any kind of discrimination! I was told by the US Ambsassador (@SteveMULLUSA - twitter) that every person who is able to prove the purpose of having a trip to the U.S will get tourist visa. Where is the truth in that? I believe they just forgot to add the young girls visitng guys-no matter what their purpose is-as an exception. Thanks for destroying dreams of the young people US Department of State, you do well!
