Its with heavy hearts our family said goodbye to a very classy, true gentleman-dog today. As you can see, he was always handsome and always smiling. Even at the end he was happy because the family was near. We were all Strider ever wanted. (That and to catch just one rabbit, of course.) What we thought was a difficult case of common vestibular disease turned out to be a very sad case of cancer that had spread all over his lungs. Though we are happy he only suffered this week, we are left stunned faced with such a fast goodbye. He will be missed. If youre looking we know he left a lot of grins all over the Rocky Mountains and Ute Valley Park. Hed be happy if you all found a few out there. Tom MacFarlane, Kika MacFarlane.
