It’s About Time for another movie review. About Time was one of those feel good movie that had me chuckling to myself for days after seeing it. Easy premise, flawless delivery. Tim, a 21 year old guy, finds out from his Dad (stunning, hilarious performance from Bill Nighy. If you only watch it for one reason, watch it because of Bill) that the men in their family can travel in time. Hilariousness ensues. Wish you’d made a better impression on your first date? Go back and change it. Wish you could have been there to help? Go back and help. Wish you’d made a better speech? Go back and…you get the idea. This movie is warm, and loving, and did I mention hilarious? It’s not as intertwined as Love Actually, less American than Notting Hill, and has fewer weddings than Four Wedding and a Funeral. But it’s that same ubiquitous happiness and kindness that permeates the movie. I guarantee you’ll love it. 5/5 stars.
