It’s COLD! Yet the workers at Las Vegas Car Wash in Park Slope are holding a picket- line. WHY? They are underpaid and forced to work under unimaginable conditions. Many of them work close to 70 hours a week, they all have been victims of wage theft and work without the necessary protections. It is no surprise then that the workers fought to join a union. But on Nov. 19th, the carwasheros were locked out after attending a Labor Board hearing to demand their employer allow them to vote for a union. Carwash workers need our support more than ever. None of them can afford a day without work, but the owner of Las Vegas Car Wash left them with no choice. Please make a small donation to support them in their fight for decent working conditions.
