It’s Not Your Time To all the single women, especially the single mothers, it’s not your time. Every day you get on Social Media, someone is getting married, living the white picket fence, having legitimate babies, and yet we, we the ones who long for it, calculate it, live for it, are still just single women. If we chose to remain single and wait on that day when fate will come and prince charming will carry us away, we are labeled bitter, or barren, or lonely… Even though we just want to be perfect for our king, just for it to get thrown in our face that we are not his queen. And when we do give in to that man with the nice grin, and let ourselves fall into sin, in hopes that true love and happiness will come true, and life can now begin, we keep coming up short, and get led to bitter ends. Because we are true loving beings, we play house, and treat them as kings, all because we long, for it, and don’t want to give up our dreams; the dream of marriage, and family, stability, and truth, just to end up with another baby from man number 2. Now we work harder to become successful, and so independent, smiling on the outside, screaming on the inside, all the while losing our minds because we gave them our bodies, That man you treated like a king was really a joker, and even though you tell yourself no, you welcome in another sucker. Your success is quickly dwindling, what you worked hard for is lost, and now you scream “Jesus, take me to the cross,” Jesus! Jesus! Send her a man, because now she has taken on more than she thinks she can…. He frees us.. We’re free… now here comes baby daddy number 3. Now we lose our mind, alternating between a smile, and now crying. When will it be me? Is her plea to God… and his answer is: Single Woman be free. It is not your time… My Queen, Do not envy the ring, your King is still a Prince and is not yet ready for the throne, and yet while you are alone, get ready to prepare and keep his home. Carry yourself as a Queen, and allow nothing in between, because it is not your time yet, wait for your KING. -Jessica Jeffery
