It’s Show Time! Hemby Bridge, NC – Brandon McLain and McLain Motorsports will be making their first appearance of the season at Lancaster Motor Speedway’s car show from 10AM to 1PM followed by practice until 5PM on Saturday, March 22nd. “We are very excited to be a part of the car show, and look forward to turning some quick laps around this extremely intimidating speedway. Hopefully what we learn Saturday afternoon will give us a great advantage for April 12th when the United Sprint Car Series and United Racing Club come into town bringing some the best winged sprint car drivers in the country with them.” Lancaster is a particularly unique track unlike any other in the region. Terry Gray, a future hall of fame driver, once said a sprint car does things at this track and that it will never do at any other track in the country. The long straight-aways and tight, high-banked turns will provide thirty to forty sprint car drivers in April with challenges they’ve never experienced before behind the wheel of their sprinter. But, let’s not get too ahead of ourselves here at McLain Motorsports. Our ultimate goal is to win that first place trophy in the car show contest on Saturday, shake a few hands, bench race with some old friends we haven’t seen in a while, and get comfortable with the new car and motor.
