It’s Way to Go Wednesday! This fall, Gabe Ravel 09, is back at Belmont Day School, but this time as a staff member. Gabe recently joined the Belmont Day after school and enrichment team, and we are excited to have him on campus! Gabe will be teaching an enrichment class called MATHletics with fellow MIT student, Charlie Alex-Barton. The class challenges third through sixth grade students to think creatively to solve problems in algebra, number theory, geometry, and discrete math. The hope is to eventually assemble a Belmont Day competition team for the Mathematical Olympiad and/or a MATHCOUNTS team. Way to go, Gabe! We’re so glad you’re back at Belmont Day, and our students are fortunate to have you as an enrichment teacher!
