It’s a sad day for me for many reasons. I am officially announcing the end of Red Handed. It was hard to arrive at this decision but the reality is it wasn’t my choice originally. Omar decided to step away for many reasons and after hearing his thoughts about this project I realized he was right. Red Handed was my baby and I was willing to do whatever it took to re-kindle the magic we created years ago. Unfortunately, you can’t always go back home. The version of Red Handed we put forth was not the stellar, fun, balls out, crazy band we all remembered. It wasn’t fun for any of us and it was becoming more like a chore than something to look forward to. It’s for those reasons it’s time to let RHB die. The best times I ever had on stage were with Squig, Emiro, Rob, Omar, and even Jeff and Pete. I really wanted to bring that energy and level of talent back to the cover band scene. It stinks that we couldn’t all reconnect and get back out there but time and life takes us in different directions and I guess that’s a good thing. Red Handed will always be my baby and I will never forget what we did and the people who are friends, lovers, and families because of RHB. That makes me feel awesome. So on behalf of all members of Red Handed we want to thank all of you who have supported us in hiatus and on stage. We will miss you all and I’m sure we will all find other ways of getting back on stage either collectively or individually. I am humbled and grateful for the years we spent rockin’ out all over the northeast. Thank you Robert Nadal, Emiro Chona, Jeff Richardson. Robert Liptrot, Omar Sanchez, Pete Bova, and last but certainly not least Mike Brown. I will always consider you all part of my extended family and wish you all the very best life has to offer…Rock out with your cock out!!! Thanks again everyone!!
