It’s always the intention that counts – what underlies any behaviour. That behaviour may be what someone overtly does, or what they choose not to do, which can have just as much impact. What is the underlying motivation? Does it stem from love, kindness, respect, joy, celebration, joining… or spite, selfishness, pride, arrogance, revenge… etc. Is there an intention to hurt, deny, be ‘better than’, have control, avoid… or to understand, be kind, true, to honour, heal, be courageous, stand for your principles, shine your light, offer a safe space, etc
