It’s been a little over a week since we became empty nesters having both girls away at school now. I decided to get our bikes down, clean off the cobwebs and tune them up a little. Yesterday, we took the bikes along the river for a maiden voyage again. It wasn’t a partially long ride but it was nice to get out of the house and enjoy the activity along the fox. The only down side to the ride was that we couldn’t take Cole with us but he will have to suffer. We’re trying to get him out for regular walk and play frisbee/soccer with him when time permits. He does miss the girls or at least additional people to pester wanting them to play constantly. I think I’ll take him out for a short walk later this morning.
