“It’s just so clear how great the differences are between what we believe and what they believe. It’s not just how awful they have been the past four years; it’s what this state can be. “We can’t let these people represent us. This is a group of people who are anti-worker, anti-woman, anti-civil rights, anti-voter rights, anti-public education ... It’s an unbelievable list of things,” FitzGerald said. “I believe that the issues are even more important than the candidates,” he said in brief remarks. “It’s about what we believe in ... I hope we keep that in mind.”
