It’s loud and clear. Zodiak Broadcasting Station is the king of Malawi’s airwaves with a listenership of 76 % with the second radio coming at a distant 43 % - MBC Radio 1. This is according to a listenership survey carried out by the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority – MACRA – in 19 districts. Capital Radio, according to MACRA, has only a listenership of 8 %, MIJ 15%, Joy Radio 10 %, Star Radio 5 %, Power 101 9 %, Transworld 15 %, Radio Maria 27 %, SDA 7 %, Living Waters 8 %, CAN Radio 5 %.
