It’s might be coming up to the end of term, but there’s still time to make sure as many schools as possible know about the new duty on schools in England to look after children with Type 1 diabetes. All you need to do is tweet your MP a #makethegrade selfie! Head to diabetes.org.uk/make-the-grade, choose your #makethegrade sign and print it out. Then hold it up, take a selfie and tweet your MP letting them know about the new law which requires schools to provide children with Type 1 with the support they need, and asking them to let schools in their area know about it.
