Begin forwarded message: This evening, the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Austin area until noon tomorrow. Out of an abundance of caution, Austin ISD will open schools and run district buses on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 28. We will continue to monitor the weather, and will only contact you again at or about 6 a.m. if the district needs to cancel school tomorrow. Otherwise, please plan for the two-hour delay. AISD will excuse tardies for students and staff members due to weather or circumstances related to inclement weather.
