It’s official…my substitute English teacher hates me!!! I hardly slept last night because we’ve been watching my mom’s friend’s baby, who cries 24/7, and I was SUPER exhausted today. I closed my eyes for like two seconds in class, when all of a sudden I heard, “What do YOU think, Miss Maxwell? Was Ralph a round character or a flat character?” I was half asleep and kind of confused, so I said, “Hmm, I don’t think the book mentioned if he was fat.” Everyone laughed except my teacher, who said, “’Round’ doesn’t mean ‘fat,’ Miss Maxwell. It means fully developed! You’d know that if you weren’t drooling all over your textbook!” I was so embarrassed! You think I should do some extra credit or something??
