It’s pretty sad when John describes Russia as a nation that is the future tense of what Republicans want and are bending the US towards. They want the US to be a gas station, owned and run by kleptocratic oligarchs, they even collect most of their campaign funds from kleptocrats who don’t care how much environmental devastation they create so long as the cash keeps rolling in. It’s no irony that the father of Charles and David Koch built his fortune by aiding Stalinist Russia in developing its oil reserves and it’s also no wonder that the oil regions have become a toxic slurry that is barely habitable towards life. Further Putin has assumed the once highly vaunted and worshipped mantle of decider in chief and is mimicking the Bush Doctrine by invading Georgia under GW Bush and the Crimea with cover provide by the Bush doctrine. A part from a stiff breeze created by John’s incessant lips flapping, does he have any real solutions for anything? He seems to remember the reset comment but has forgotten the, I looked into his eyes and saw his soul comment that GW made. Is there no time when John won’t make an inane and meaningless comment ever? Instead of being critical about Russia for emulating what the US did as foreign policy. Why can’t he get behind diplomacy, is he so invested in America becoming a Military Industrial kleptocracy. At least he spared us the other direct correlation between Putin’s Russia and that’s the point that Russia also is usurping religion to sell the concept of a theocratic nation and also has adopted the virulent intolerant stance held by Republicans to minorities and the LGBT community. So to clarify things, John is angry at Russia for becoming a Republican’s concept of utopia, a nation with no worker rights, no minimum wage, a pension that is less than $100 a month, a healthcare system that only works for the rich, a nation that fabricates reasons to go to war, a plutocrats dreams come true, a better version of the US from the perspectives of the Republican ideals. Sorry John, you lack all credibility in criticizing another nation for creating what you want done to the US.
