It’s the beginning of the New Year and we just wanted to remind you that it’s time to resubmit your tax abatement paperwork to your local county treasures office to be eligible to receive this great benefit. Simply take your Disability Rating Letter that you received from the VA Regional Office to you counties treasures office. What’s that you say? You didn’t know of this awesome benefit that is afforded to Utah Veterans. Property tax abatement is only one of several benefits that you may be eligible for if you live in Utah. You may be eligible for state benefits such as; property and motor vehicle tax exemptions, scholarships, employment and training, and business opportunities.
