It’s time for jumps racing to disappear from our race tracks. - TopicsExpress

It’s time for jumps racing to disappear from our race tracks. There is nothing glamorous about watching a horse die during a day at the jumps races. RSPCA South Australia has long campaigned against jumps racing due to the high risk of injury and death to horses. Over the last four years, five horses have died as a result of jumps races at the annual Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival. Do you think the risk of a horse suffering serious injury or death as a result of participating in these events makes jumps racing unacceptable? Tell John Glatz, Chairman of the Oakbank Racing Club, you want jumps racing withdrawn from the Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival. Visit theillogicalraces.org.au/ to read about the issues and sign the petition. Our target is 15,000 signatures before the first race at the Oakbank Easter Racing Carnival on April 19. It will take only a moment to add your name to the petition and make your voice heard for South Australian horses. Please take action. Get informed and help us end The Illogical Races.
