It’s time for our favorite game: “Ask the Nurse” Q: I had a breast augmentation about nine years ago but I heard I need to replace my saline implants every ten years. Should I start looking into having another procedure? A: What a great question! No! Having to replace saline implants every ten years is considered somewhat a myth. The only time implants need to be replaced is in the unlikely event of a deflation. As long as you are still happy with your results and the implants are still suiting you the way you like them to, then there is no need to replace saline implants. If you have a question for one of our Avalon nurses, send us a Facebook message and see if it gets posted to our Facebook page! Of course, all names will remain confidential.
