It’s time to get the “Be Mine” ball rolling! We cant wait to share all the exciting news with you, starting with the announcement of our amazing co-chairs. We are honored, humbled and happy to announce the Be Mine 2015 Co-Chairs......(drum roll, please)...... Casey Christopher and Amanda Valenti!!!!!!!!!!! Casey Christopher is a Business Development Officer and Certified Treasury Professional for a Florida correspondent bank, managing a customer portfolio of over 100 community banks throughout the state of Florida. Casey is an active member of the Tampa Bay University Club, the Florida Bankers Association and the Junior Womens League of Tampa. She proudly served as Treasurer for the Junior League’s largest fundraiser six years in a row and is currently double-placed as JLT’s Finance and CAC Coordinator. Remarkably, this is her second year as event co-chair of Be Mine following a successful run as co-chair the inaugural year and following her most memorable appearance as a lifelike Tinkerbell at last years’ Be Mine- A Night In Foreverland event. Casey grew up in central New Jersey and is a 2002 graduate of the Ohio University and resides in Tampa. Her motto? “Do it like you mean it. Give everything that means something to you 100%.”- Don Christopher (her Dad) Amanda Valenti is the Assistant Vice President for CBRE and is a graduate of Florida State University. At FSU, she was an active member, holding leadership roles in Alpha Kappa Psi and The Professional Business Fraternity. She holds a Real Estate Broker License for the state of Florida. Amanda is a member of ICSC, MBA, REIC, and this is her fifth year as a Junior League of Tampa member. In 2012, she served as Assistant Chair for the Heart Gallery’s Birthday Buddies committee and is currently a placement mentor for the “Girl Power” Committee for Joshua House. She also volunteers for the Paws for Friendship nonprofit and visits assisted living facilities to bring the elderly puppy love and kisses. (Awwww!) Her motto? “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” -Gandhi We are so lucky to be led this year by two dedicated, smart and fabulous women! Thank you for stepping up to help Tampa’s foster children!
