It’s unbelievable! AMARAIZU IFEANYI GENIUS, a 300level Mass Communication student leads some Unizik students to a cleanliness campaign. He tagged it “KEEP UNIZIK CLEAN: AMARAIZU IFEANYI GENIUS AT WORK”. Starting from Ifite school gate, the KEEP UNIZIK CLEAN team picked and swept Unizik clean. From Social Sciences, they entered Garuba square/bus stand, then to Management Sciences and to MPH/Bank area through Law faculty. From there, they moved to Utility building from where they continued the cleanliness campaign to faculty of Agriculture and Engineering. In an interview with AMARAIZU IFEANYI GENIUS on the motive behind the KEEP UNIZIK CLEAN campaign, he said that for most part of his life he has been grooming himself in leadership and human development and in turn has come to learn that we can only be the change we seek and not just preachers of change. According to him, KEEP UNIZIK CLEAN is part of the change and he has sworn to lead the change and that’s why he joined in sweeping Unizik right under a hot sun. Others interviewed said that they believe in AMARAIZU IFEANYI GENIUS and also in his vision for a better Unizik, and that is their own motive of selflessly joining him in the cleanliness campaign without demanding for a pay.
