Ive Got the Lord and Thats Enough Well now I heard that folks been talking bout me Really I dont mind I know they try to block my progress a whole lot of the time Well the mean things you said dont make me feel so bad Cause I cant miss a friend that I never had Ive got the Lord and thats enough When Im sick and troubled , He is there When I call him He answers all my prayers When Im burdened with a load He is there Thats when Jesus is a Comforter to my soul Well you may scorn me, turn your back on me But Gods got his arms wrapped all around me Ive got Jesus and thats enough You know theres been a lotta times that I didnt have a dime And I didnt cry to nobody, but my Lord, I know He always provides for me He heard my plea and came to see about me cause I can count on His Word And that enough So if you push me down He will pick me up I cant go down for going over And Hell stick by me when the goin gets tough Ive got the Lord and thats enough Well He is the great emancipator, my heart regulator Yes he is Hell make my way brighter and my burdens lighter Yes He will , Jesus will Ive been sad, alone, wounded and scared When I was going down for the last time He came to me just in the nick of time And He poured in the oil and the wine And thats enough, Jesus is enough Ive got the Lord and thats enough :)
