Ive already said much more than I had ever intended on the subject of Scottish independence so this will probably be the last post. During this final week of campaigning there has been a great deal said about pledges, promises and commitments so here is mine: Whether it is a Yes or a No vote I pledge to accept the result, without reservation, as the democratic expression made by my fellow Scots as to the future constitutional direction of our great nation. We are fortunate that on Thursday we can all freely go to the polls and cast the vote we want without any fear of intimidation. Yes we may fear for the future or take fear from the past but once in the booth we have no reason to fear making the decision that we alone choose. We need to go forward together so I really hope and pray that once the outcome is announced we can show the world we are united once again and do what we do better than anyone else. So lets celebrate that unity with an almighty party...!
