Ive always been a health nut and always had a lean body but about a year and a half ago was a time that I felt my very best! Then I allowed life to happen. I allowed a broken heart and a broken foot to take center stage and walked away from my fruity high carb lifestyle. Although I kept it vegan and raw I entertained foods that were not for my highest good! Still vegan but not the best. As the weight came on I realized that something I had added in was simply not working for me. Although everyone around me was saying I looked great, I didnt feel great. I felt tired and to be quite honest the excess weight was beyond a standard that I am willing to accept of myself. I am a runner and when I cannot run the Earth stops rotating! So two months ago I took my life back. I began pushing harder with my workouts. I began boxing and I went back to my high carb lifestyle that I love and enjoy. This lifestyle has always worked for me and kept me at my leanest! So today while running errands I ran into three people. One person Ive known for three years and two that know me from my You Tube videos. All three gave me the loveliest compliments yet I found myself saying oh stop instead of saying thank you. Somewhere along the way I lost my self esteem to utter the words thank you or I appreciate you saying that. I think when we go through things in life it can effect us in that way. Sometimes making us lose our sense of value or self worth when we feel we are not at our absolute best. When ones standard is EXTREMELY high such as my own has always been it can be difficult to accept when we are not at our best. As I drove home I realized everything I give to this World. What I give to my family, friends, social media followers and clients. The words rolled off my tongue YOU HAVE VALUE! People love you that youve never even met! Embrace it! You are love! Im happy that my value is no longer intertwined and defined by just my looks. At one dark point in my life it very much so was. Im so grateful that God has laid before me my chosen path to help others become the very best they can be! To create tonics, drinks and amazingly beautiful food that draws people into this lifestyle and to have such a huge world wide audience to do it in front of makes me smile from ear to ear! #feelinggrateful
