Ive always believed that every generation has a watershed year... a year that seems to magnetize itself with incredible stories, amazing sporting events, pop culture that defines its era and just generally represents the feel of the day. Amazingly, they seem to occur every 25 years exactly. 1994 was the last such year - and Ive always felt it was a special one on so many levels. So many milestone events (good and bad) happened that year you cant help but wonder that the stars werent aligning to make it a memorable one. 25 years before that? 1969 - an argument could be made that no other year (except maybe 1967) defined that generation more than that one. 25 years before that? 1944 - no denying that that year and the nearing of the end of WWII defined our my grandparents generation. Based on this observation, the next watershed generational year is coming up in 2019... where do you think well be then?
