Ive always liked the mountains more than the ocean... I came to the Gulf Coast as a child and while it was fun at first it never held my attention as I couldnt find much to do other than eat seafood and sit on the beach. I need more focus and activity than this. This changed over the last six months after visiting the Pacific, Atlantic and now the Gulf of Mexico. With all sorts of kayaks in our trailer and some nice waves I have really fond a new joy. Kayak fishing in the ocean and bays from a kayak has been really fun on the flat days. Im really enjoying kayak surfing when the wind and swell cooperates. I find myself looking at the surf report late at night to determine if I will get up early for a surf session. Id love to urge my kayaker friends to bring your boats to the beach you might be rewarded with waves you would dream about in a river. Here is a quick video showing some of the fun!
