Ive always moved through life letting the feeling guide my actions. Trusting my gut over my rational and analytical mind... Always believing in the things that our eyes are incapable of seeing. Its funny that the first step on the path of self-discovery is brilliantly disguised and perceived by the human mind as a step backwards in the natural progression of existence in this reality that we understand so little about.. Its that perceived step backwards that scares & throws most people off the right path. When you get a feeling inside of you that resonates deep down to your soul, it drifts far beyond the minds ability to comprehend it. Hence why meditation and enlightenment is all about quieting the mind, and listening... Scratch that... Rather FEELING what is right or wrong inside. I believe strongly in destiny. So Free will to me is the ability to choose a path that is wrong, or to choose the feeling inside of you that puts you up against all odds and forces you directly into adversity. Creating the hardest possible emotional circumstances for your survival and success. Pursuing your destiny if you believe in such a thing, would then mean that you have to commit to going wherever that intuitive feeling takes you, regardless of the situation or circumstance. There is more real world meaning to the phrase diamonds are formed out of pressure. The human existence is very similar. Our brains are wired to make the safe choice, the logical choice. To survive... Sacrificing yourself is giving into your feelings and accepting that the mind and how we perceive the reality around us is basically as good as a mirage. Its a product of our mind trying to break down and understand a complex universe that it was never capable of doing. Its not until you can come to peace with that fundamental truth, that you can even begin to allow yourself to give in, and let the infinite universal energy flow and become part of you.... Connecting you to what some of the smartest people in our human history called collective consciousness an all knowing, oneness... Understanding intuitively our place in the universe as individuals and also collectively... This my friends... This is what I think people believe enlightenment is... Not saying Im anywhere close, but I can sense an understanding... That must be progress..
