Ive always noticed the Agenda and Minutes section on the City of Elyria website, but those sections seem to be chronically empty. Contrast this with Vermilion City Schools, which has a YouTube channel (https://youtube/user/VermilionLocalSchool/videos) where every meeting is recorded and posted for future reference. A quality mic and camera are small expenses, and YouTube is free, so it seems that this would be a low-cost move to increase transparency and participation in our city.
