Ive always said going back 45 years now that Ray Davies besides being the undisputed world champion of songwriters has a great talent & natural gift of writing songs from 2 points of view one is the front door and one is the back door meaning you can be saying one thing but really meaning the opposite take the GREAT KinKs song Im Not Like Everybody Else - well Sparks have a song called I Wanna Be Like Everybody Else and even though they seem like polar opposites they really are saying the exact same thing - think about it and add it up; Ray does that many times within his own songs; https://youtube/watch?v=nf33CB2VPyc
