Ive always thought I was more a fight than flight person.. Today I know the answer for sure. When neighbor from across the road comes and yells your next door neighbors house in on fire.. You quickly figure out what type of response person you are. Thankfully, they were not home, but I knew their dogs were in the house. Yelled and kids and JD to get hose and make calls, ran jumped fence (IKR) and to back to door get dogs. They came out, then went back in, so in the doggie door I went and shoved them out. I wish I could have gotten items out of the house, but in matter of seconds it went from small fire on the wall to the attic full flames and only thing I could see were the dogs. It was a horrible day for The Burns, Millers, and us. We are all heartbroken. The out pour of people and donations with in minutes was amazing, thank you all!!
