Ive always thought that a person could just dye their hair any color they wanted. Did you know that that is simply not true? It is impossible to dye my hair brown. I am told this by my stylist. She used medium ash brown dye because I told her I did NOT want red hair or even reddish brown hair. (Not that theres anything wrong with that! LOL) I want medium brown hair, as close to my natural color as I can get which was not reddish (unless maybe the sun was shining on it just right). She said, I will not PUT any red into your hair, but if it turns out reddish or fades to reddish, there is nothing I can do about that. And she was right. It turned out reddish and is fading even reddisher. So the other day, a friend walked up to me and said, Love the red! UGH!! ( Krystal, that was you! LOL) No comments needed from the natural crown who say to just go grey. Not going to do that. I would rather have reddish than gray. But I sure wish I could just have brown.
