Ive always wanted a kitchen with no upper cabinets and drawers at least on 2 outside walls instead of lower cabinets, heres why. 1. No overhead cabinets making workspace dark. 2. love the drawers, they hold more than cabinets and no awkward bending. 3. great HUGE windows to look out at birds,scenery. 4. I believe we can all downsize some stuff we hardly use. I would make sure to have a pantry or tall cabinet on inter wall for this. 5. So much brighter and larger looking. this is from the no. 1 voted best decor blog this year. no subway tile for me, go with some color!
