Ive battled depression for almost 30 yrs. At the very worst time, I felt like I was in a bottomless black hole, hanging on by my finger tips and someone was standing on my fingertips. That day, I almost opened my car door while driving 65 mph down the highway....The only thing that stopped me was remembering my 5 yr old son. I drove myself straight to my doctor and told them that I didnt have an appt but was going to sit in waiting rm til I could be seen. Thank God I have a doctor that has been there for me and understood me for all this time, guiding me thru all the problems this has caused and all the meds involved. He has also guided my 2 oldest sons thru depression. It is the hardest thing I have dealt with ever. Good days and hopeless days.... so misunderstood, and sadly often from Christians more than anyone else. ...Please never judge someone for depression and/or needing medication for it....
