Ive become a complete Western junkie -- Rawhide, Rifleman, Gunsmoke, Wanted Dead or Alive, Bonanza..etc..... I grew up on a horse and rode my horse to kindergarten, I always feel like I was Annie Oakley in my past life! Last night we watched HIGH NOON with one of my all time favorites, Gary Cooper, who play Marshal Will Kane, a sheriff that everyone abandoned while he had to fight 4 men set out to kill him to the death... alone! This film was intended as an allegory in Hollywood for the failure of Hollywood people to stand up to the House Un-American Activities Committee during the Sen. Joseph McCarthy Red-baiting era. With an ALL Star Cast, it was so worth seeing again for my 15th time!!!!!
