Ive been a little AWOL here and I want to thank you all for the messages and texts. I have been in bed since Friday, taking a new round on medications, keeping calm in spite of new ulcers developing on my other hand and tracking my attacks in a pain journal. Seems rest and sleep are the whats keeping the pain episodes to a minimum. I have to schedule an appointment with a new primary doctor next week and YES, I will go to work and do what I can. I have NO sick or vacation days to use and will do what I can with gloves and padding. I apologize to those calls I have not returned. I hope you understand that talking about it while Im in this flare up just upsets me. I am so blessed to have my cousins, Ellen and Margie, who are both RNs, who came over with food and a care package to help me and also my BFF Erin who has been so good to me in helping me cope as well. Thanks for the prayers from everyone...Im far from out of the woods. I always thought I wouldnt be THAT person on FB who shares health issues, but knowing I am not alone with auto-immune disease has been so helpful so Thank you for sharing your stories and advice. THAT has kept me hopeful. God bless you all.
