Ive been a lot of places, seen a lot of art and collections over 18 yrs....... But today I wanted to show mom this little antique shop I visited and bought from over a decade ago. It was a visit neither my mom nor I will ever forget!!!! We were quickly greeted by Deb Wilson and her dog Daisy, who were gracious enough to show us her families work shop and gallery, where her mom affectionately known as Granny was hard at work creating and painting !!! Their yard is something every collector and folk art lover should see, their workshop is nothing short of Devine!!!!!! The imagination that Granny and Poppy possess is nothing short of a gift ..... Ive Truely never seen anything like it, the pictures dont do it justice, the warmth that Granny and her daughter Deb share with you, extends into every beloved piece!!!!! Granny was generous enough to invite us into their home to share with us their personal collection of furniture, paintings and folk art ...... Truely outstanding ...... I wish I lived closer, Granny and Poppy whos 92 yrs young could teach this young chick a lot about creativity and artistry! If your ever in Vineland Ontario you really need to stop into Grannys Boot!!!!
