Ive been absent lately because Im going through a divorce. These things are never easy, and while mine is very respectful and kind, it is still difficult nonetheless. I have nothing but kind feelings towards my partner and will miss him dearly. If only these things werent so very complicated. I suppose that today is a marker of sorts, as he has moved out and Im officially living on my own. I havent really been on my own since I was in my early 20s. Since Im 39 now, this is quite a change. My house is so quiet right now. That will change when my son returns on Monday. But for now, I can hear every little sound that the structure makes. And every little sound within my head. Welcome to my new life. Day 1.
