Ive been asked a fair number of times why I dont throw my name into every conversation where someone is looking for a photographer. My answer likely only makes sense to myself, but thats alright haha When someone goes to a group and asks for a recommendation, you will see a bunch of names brought up. Some really talented folks. Normally you will then start seeing the discussion turn to cost, etc. Completely understandable.....I know what its like to have limited funds and needs to get the most bang for a buck. At this point, some of those really talented photographers start to undercut each other just to have the satisfaction of being chosen. I wasnt good at playing games in school and Im no better at it now that Im old. This remains a hobby to me.....something that I do because I love to see the reaction of a person who hates having their photo taken when they see what we have created for them. I sincerely appreciate it every time I am recommended by someone.....that means more to me than I could ever fully express. Just letting you know why I may not follow up on it.
